EXPANDING HORIZONS. AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION IN CHISHYNEV

Our company is always open to the perception of new and interesting things. Having received another invitation from our “neighbor” Republic of Moldova to visit the agricultural exhibition in Chisinau, we, without hesitation, started preparing for the trip.

After crossing the border, we immediately got to a kind of “mini country”, where very generous and sincere people live. The Moldovan language is very beautiful, and Chisinau is the heart of Moldova, multi-ethnic and colorful.

The 18th international exhibition-fair Farmer 2015 was held in the national exhibition center MoldExpo from October 21 to 24. This year, more than 15 thousand visitors and 7 participating countries, such as Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Greece, etc., took part. Many branches and areas of agriculture were represented: from machinery and equipment to state breeding farms and private mini zoos.

Despite the fact that Moldova occupies an area slightly larger than Odesa region, and its population is 3,559 thousand people, agriculture here is quite diverse.

In particular, the Moldsuinhybrid state enterprise for breeding and hybridization of pigs was widely represented. It provides a full range of services in pig farming: purebred pigs per tribe, material for insemination, selection of optimal fodder for pigs and consultations.

For this company, it was particularly interesting to study the effect of the feed concentrate ZHYVYNA™ on the quality of livestock production (enhancement of reproductive function, strengthening of immunity, preservation of the herd), as well as indicators of feed conversion. After receiving the samples, the employees of the enterprise in laboratory conditions after the exhibition did a number of studies that showed that this product meets all the declared quality and efficiency criteria. Moreover, it was noted that the introduction of ZHYVYNA™ AAVMFC into the rations not only normalizes the intestinal microflora, but also protects against the effects of toxins that are often found in feed recently.

At the end of the exhibition, Moldsuinhibrid specialists decide on the issue of expanding the introduction of PC VITA products in livestock farms of the Republic of Moldova.

Breeding of chinchillas occupies an important place among the traditional areas of animal husbandry. This industry is quite developed in Moldova. The queen of animal husbandry in Moldova is, without a doubt, sheep breeding. The topography of the country is mainly flat in the south and flat mountains, divided by streams and rivers, in the north. Therefore, goat and sheep breeding is the most popular and profitable part of animal husbandry.

The veterinary industry was represented at MoldExpo 2015 by only one Moldovan company, SC Medikamentum. The company produces not only veterinary drugs, but also premixes and feed additives. It is a pleasure to note that our feed concentrates ZHYVINAtm are widely known and distributed in the republic. We owe this to both Ukrainian exporting partners and buyer firms from the Republic of Moldova.

Having studied the situation more deeply, we realized that such products as feed concentrates ZHYVYNA™, mineral mixtures Calcium P™, can occupy a larger segment of the feed market of Moldova and become a reliable support for its development. Therefore, our company decided to expand its presence on the markets of the Republic of Moldova through its own exports. For this purpose, a number of organizational measures are carried out.

Summing up the results of the October MoldExpo 2015 exhibition, we can say that the Republic of Moldova, thanks to its geographical, climatic, economic and ethnic features, has a promising future in the development of animal husbandry. This is also understood by the government of the Republic of Moldova, which, despite political difficulties, does not stop supporting the livestock industry, and emphasizes the development of medium and small-scale agribusiness.
